70 years of high-voltage fittings from Kistlerhofstrasse in Munich
Gorny GmbH has its roots in the company Wirschitz & Co. founded by Eduard Wirschitz in 1898. In the 1930s, Wirschitz began developing and producing general high-voltage fittings and was the first to manufacture aluminum guy and suspension clamps. Franz Wirschitz takes over the company from his father in 1936. In 1954, the company moves into the new production hall at Kistlerhofstraße 124. The Gorny company is founded in 1977.
As a medium-sized company, we are still a developer and manufacturer of high-voltage fittings for overhead switchgear and overhead lines. With our high-quality and innovative products, we have established ourselves as an important partner for German and international energy supply companies.

At our production site in Munich, we attach great importance to particularly high product quality, which we ensure through a high level of vertical integration in our toolmaking, forging, foundry and welding departments.
